Ebeneezer Scrooge is an old man who is very, very rich and employs a man names Bob Cratchit. Scrooge hates Christmas – he doesn’t even let Bob take the day off on Christmas. He just says “Bah! Humbug.”The ghosts visit Ebeneezer Scrooge from 1 o’clock to 3 o’clock. Every hour a new ghost comes. First, the Christmas Past, then Christmas Present, then Christmas Future.
If there was a problem presented in the book, write three (3) sentences about it. Otherwise, write three sentences about your favorite part of the book.: The problem in the story was that Ebeneezer Scrooge doesn’t like Christmas and is mean to people.

If there was not problem, write three sentences about what you would have liked to have seen in the book that the author did not include.: The problem is solved by 3 Ghosts – the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Future – showing him the past, the present and the future. This reminds him of him loving Christmas as a child. It shows that he’s mean in the present. In the future, he dies and people take his stuff (like his curtains) and don’t even care that he died. Also, his gravestone is rotting and neglected.This teaches him the lesson that he should be a better person. He should let Bob Cratchit have a day off on Christmas.
