All of the places are on Shivers’ (the pirate) adventure to save his mom, dad, and brave brother Brock.Some specific locations are: in Mustardio’s secret lair inside the Statue of Liberty, on the Land Lady (Shivers’ ship), on the iPoke (another pirate’s ship), and a Carnival cruise ship.
List all of the main characters in the book, and share a little bit of information about each character.:	The main characters are Margo and Shivers. Margo is a 10-yr old girl, Shivers is 11.Shivers is the son of Tilda the Tormentor and Bob, two great pirates that got trapped in Mustardio’s secret lair trying to find the Treasure Torch. He is the brother of Brave Brother Brock, also a pirate and also captured. Shivers is a very scared pirate, the scardiest pirate around. His mom named him Shivers because of the pirate saying “Shiver me timbers!”. But the name suited him perfectly because he is always scared. Margo is Shivers’ new best friend. She is not scared like Shivers and she is not a pirate. She is the daughter of a police captain. She is always looking for adventure. She was happy to help Shivers on his journey to save his family.
If there was a problem presented in the book, write three (3) sentences about it. Otherwise, write three sentences about your favorite part of the book.:	The problem was that Shivers’ family was trapped in Mustardio’s secret lair. It was up to Shivers and Margo to save his family. They encounter many problems on the way, like: their ship almost got ruined by a giant squid, Shivers told a pirate joke on the Carnival cruise ship so the people on the ship discovered he was a pirate and started chasing him around the ship, and Shivers got forced overboard from the cruise ship.Towards the end, Margo and Shivers found “Lady Liberty” (the Statue of Liberty). Shivers thought Lady Liberty was holding the Treasure Torch, a treasure that the greatest and bravest pirates have been going to get for ages. Shivers and Margo realized it was mustard and fell into it just like his parents had.

If there was not problem, write three sentences about what you would have liked to have seen in the book that the author did not include.:	The problem was solved by Shivers’ dad, Bob, throwing Shivers’ great fear – a snail – onto Shivers’ head. This caused Shivers to freak out, to slip out of his chains, and to jump on Mustardio’s conveyor belt in the secret lair.Shivers saved all the pirates that were trapped in Mustardio’s lair, even the ones trapped in the Bungeon, like Brave Brother Brock and Margo.
How did this book make you feel? Write three (3) sentences describing the feelings you had, when reading the book.:	The book made me feel happy when Shivers saved his mom and dad. But it made me feel worried when all of the problems happened.
