Cardboard Box Creativity

Today we worked with cardboard boxes and used our imaginations to create whatever the children were inspired to create. This was inspired by a book we read the last time we had writer’s workshop. I suggested a few ideas and then they took off. We had a laptop computer, shoe box diorama, sword and shield, Thor’s hammer, astronaut space suit, and a soccer jersey. All of the Neutrons worked hard and mostly independently because they each knew exactly what they wanted to make. It is so fun to work with such a creative group of kids!
