Jim and Doug

Jim is a nice guy. He plays linebacker. He was scared to get hurt.

Doug is the coach. He is really nice because he keeps the players playing and believes in them.

Jim is scared about tackling and being tackled. He played before and always got hurt. He would intercep passes but drop them if he was about to be tackled.

His brother and the coach, Doug had done that before. He had dropped balls too. His brother was in college and then Jim saw in the newspaper that he had dropped passes too. It made him feel better that his brother had been scared too. Jim figured out how to get tackled.

I felt good. I have dropped passes before and these guys are in high school. I love sports.

This is a great book because it is about football. I felt like I knew how Jim felt and it was funny too. If you like sports, this is a good book. He is also a great author.
