Tracing
Today we did tracing! We taped (using painter’s tape) a variety of blank and white coloring pages onto the tables, and taped tracing paper on top of those. In some cases we hid one side of the picture, so our
Decoupage
It was decoupage day! The group first sorted through old magazines, maps of Chicago, and playing cards and ripped out images they liked. Then they each picked out a cigar box and affixed their scraps using Mod Podge. Great results,
Wacky Wardrobe
As part of Wacky Wardrobe Day, we decorated small wooden figurines with markers and dressed them in tissue paper. In some cases the figures were given favorite articles of clothing, and in others the style was a little more eclectic.
Fall
We celebrated the arrival of fall with leaf cutouts and colored yarn. After picking their shapes and colors, the Protons and Quarks wrapped the yarn around to make a soft fuzzy leaf. And in the end, several were pinned to
