Today the Quarks continued work on their art books constructed from large manila envelopes. They worked on a new page/envelope to hold the prints they made a few weeks ago. The kids used various objects including t.p. tubes, corks, fake leaves, sponges, and tin foil to “stamp”paint onto their page.
I also showed the kids a fun technique to make unique prints. We squirted small amounts of paint onto our papers, folded the paper in half, gently rubbed the paper, and carefully opened them back up to reveal a beautiful one of a kind artwork.
