Webs

Today we starting with a mini-lesson about making webs as a pre-writing technique. The kids took notes in their folders, and we brainstormed a web about “Going to a Carnival”. Then, everyone wrote a plan for themselves, which included narrative writing, some fantasy stories, an expository piece, and more. Everyone chose a comfy spot in the room & wrote for 15 min. Then we gathered to share what we had come up with so far! We ended with a few minutes of theater games, led by Christina 🙂 Everyone did an amazing job!
