Writing Workshop: Continuing the Writing Process

We are continuing to take our chosen pieces through the writing process. Some writers were making notes on 1st drafts to help them write 2nd drafts, others were writing the 2nd drafts, and a couple were starting editing on a 2nd draft. Many of them said they would like to type the 2nd drafts (I sent pics via text/email to a few of you). Editing and starting a final draft will be next week’s goal. We have a field trip on the 14th, so depending where everyone leaves off next week, they may need to write final drafts at home & add some “publishing” touches (like cover pages, artwork etc). On April 21st, I’d like us all to share final drafts and celebrate all the hard work they’ve done in Writing Workshop this co-op year!
