Scrooge is the main character of this story. He does not have any friends because he just cares for money. He seems to dislike everybody, and he keeps people away.

Scrooge is the main character of this story, helped by three Spirits.

Scrooge has been mean and greedy all his life; only at the end of the story he changes his behavior because the Spirits visited him and helped him to understand how wrong he has been toward everybody.

The Spirit of the Past shows him how sad his childhood was. He was living in an orphanage, and he was a solitary boy.

The spirit of the Present shows him how joyful Christmas day is for those who have family, friends, and love in their hearts.

The Spirit of the Future shows him how miserable his life will be if he does not change.

This Book made me think deeply about the importance of our choices. I often felt pity for Scrooge, because his life appears sad and solitary. I felt extremely happy at the end of the story, because he has been able to make the right the decision.

It is a wonderful story. I learned many new words that I will add to my morning vocabulary and I learned that our future depends on our choices. We should be always aware of the negative consequences of our bad behavior.
