What is the setting of the book?
Greg Heffley, a middle school boy writing about his life for when “He becomes rich and famous”. So he can sell his old diary and make millions.
Who is/are the main character(s)? What are they like?
Greg is the main character, he is best friends with Rowley a kid who greg thinks acts too childish. Greg and hates his younger brothers, Rodrick, who is always bullying and taking advantage of Greg, and Manny, who never gets in trouble and is always breaking stuff, but just replies “I’m ownwy thwee!”.
What is the conflict of the story?
When Gregs parents leave for vacation, his big brother, Rodrick decides to throw a party, but someone writes “rodrick rules!” with sharpie on a door, so him and Greg have to replace the door with another one.
What was the conclusion of the book?
Gregs mom Susan, tries to take a photo of something but finds an accidental photo taken of the party. In the end, Greg and Rodrick both get caught, resulting in. immense punishment from his mom.
While reading the book, what were your emotions?
Sometimes I’m laughing due to the funny situations. And sometimes I’m VERY angry at the book due to the unfair and annoying parts of the book (mostly Manny).

I don’t think the book had a moral.

It was very funny and entertaining. It also had an interesting(but good) book layout.
What was your favorite/least favorite part?
I really enjoyed the part where Greg and Rodrick had to replace a door with another door that was written on. I disliked when Manny broke Gregs game system and got in NO TROUBLE AT ALL.

Yes, I would recommend this book to others. It was funny, and interesting. I left wanting more.
