The conflict of the story starts when Resilience goes offline for many years because he fell off a cliff while exploring Mars on his own. Rania also gets sick and is in the hospital.

Magnifico is supposed to be the hero, but Alfie Onion is doing all the work for his brother. They’re trying to save a princess in a castle with a spell that makes her sleep. The castle is surrounded by nasty, really nasty ogres! They have to trick the ogres with a potion that Belinda has made. Belinda is the daughter of the ogre that is trying to keep anyone away from the palace and she doesn’t get treated very nicely.

The painting was stolen. A lot of detectives tried to find the thief using outdated methods. Instead of allowing themselves to be open about what really happened they go in search of a better story.

Mac treats the animals unfairly. He has a weapon called a claw-stick; he uses it mostly with Ruby. Ivan wants to move Ruby to a zoo.

There were several robberies one night in New Mouse City. So everyone hired a new security company called SafeSqueak to protect their homes, but the company was actually taking control of the whole city. Dr. Wicked and Suzy Slyrat wanted a pile of gold as ransom. Geronimo, 00K and 00V had to go to space to destroy the satellite they were using. It was disguised as a cheese colored asteroid.
