Almanzo really wanted a colt and he got one at the end. Almanzo got two hundred dollars because Mr. Paddock told Mr. Thompson that he called Almanzo a thief; but he wasn’t. Mr. Thompson offered Almanzo a nickel but Mr. Paddock said to give him two hundred dollars.
FAVORITE PART OR CONCLUSION
I felt like the parents were pretty mean to their kids. I felt like it was a nice place. I would really like to live on the farm.
RATING
I gave it five stars because I felt like the book was very exciting. It was a really good story and I like really good stories. I would like to experience a different life.
