PROBLEM, CONFLICT or FAVORITE PART
I want to tell you a little about this short story “My grandfather Tano and the Dolphin”, written by an Italian author, because it talks about love and friendship in a simple but poetic way.
During a summer afternoon Nonno Tano is on his little boat fishing as usual. He is a fisherman and he is a simple nice person. Finally he caught a fish. It is a big fish and Nonno Tano is struggling to pull him up into his little boat. Suddenly a wave hit the boat and he saw the snout of a dolphin appearing from the water. For few minutes two beautiful black eyes stared at the fisherman. The dolphin was communicating something, silently. He was telling the fisherman that he was going to help his friend. And he did it, bravely. He bit the fishing line and he released the sword fish. Together they left. Nonno Tano was surprised but he understood the dolphin’s behavior.
CONCLUSION
I really liked the story because:
1) it reminds us that friends help each others facing risk;
2)Nonno Tano is a clever man who loves and understands the beauty and the secrets of Nature
3)I love dolphins, they are clever, funny, full of energy, and playful.
RATING
I WOULD LIKE TO DEDICATE THIS STORY FULL OF LOVE TO ALL OF YOU, my Co-op friends!!!!!
