List all of the main characters in the book, and share a little bit of information about each character.: The two main characters are the mom and dad who are important roll models and help the children learn about their heritage. Most of the stories about about the children. Ella is the oldest daughter. Henny ,Sarah,Charlotte,Gertie are the rest of the girls and they are each different and get into different kinds of trouble. Charlie is the littlest and the only boy.
If there was a problem presented in the book, write three (3) sentences about it. Otherwise, write three sentences about your favorite part of the book.: Each chapter is like a different story in the family so many different problems come up through out the book. The biggest problem in the book was that their uncles fiance got a bad virus and her legs couldn’t work any more. She didn’t want to marry their uncle because she didn’t want to be a burden to him.
If there was a problem presented in the book, write three (3) sentences about how the problem was solved. If there was not problem, write three sentences about what you would have liked to have seen in the book that the author did not include.: The family helped her realize that their uncle loved her anyway. The family encouraged her and helped her to get better. As she got stronger she decided she could sill marry him.
How did this book make you feel? Write three (3) sentences describing the feelings you had, when reading the book.: This book made me feel like I want to read more stories about the family. I also felt sad about the sickness.
