Write three (3) sentences which describe the Setting of the book. Be sure use descriptive words.: The book takes place in Nate the Great’s friend’s house. It is in the kitchen and the living room.
List all of the main characters in the book, and share a little bit of information about each character.: The main characters are Nate the Great, the book club members, and the book club president Rosamond. Rosamond is very weird because she has 4 cats named Little Hex, Big Hex, Plain Hex, and Super Hex and for many other reasons that it doesn’t tell about in the books I read. Nate the Great is a kid detective.
If there was a problem presented in the book, write three (3) sentences about it. Otherwise, write three sentences about your favorite part of the book.: The problem in the book was that some of Rosamond’s pages from her cookbook and another book that she was reading for her book club were missing. From the book club book, pages 15 and 16 were missing and in the cookbook one of the recipes was missing.
If there was a problem presented in the book, write three (3) sentences about how the problem was solved. If there was not problem, write three sentences about what you would have liked to have seen in the book that the author did not include.: The problem was solved by Nate the Great using his detective skills to find out how to solve the mystery. What had happened was that Rosamond bought books from the book sale in the gym of her school and one of them was the book club book. But it was from the used book pile, where the librarian said some of the books might have food stains or loose binding. Annie, another one of Nate the Great’s friends, went to the book sale with Rosamond. Annie brought her dog Fang with her. Fang bumped over the pile of books and Rosamond picked up the copy of the book with loose binding. So a page fell out because of the binding.
How did this book make you feel? Write three (3) sentences describing the feelings you had, when reading the book.: The book made me feel really happy that they found the missing page from the book. It also made me want to read more because I wanted to find out why the page was missing.
