Write three (3) sentences which describe the Setting of the book. Be sure use descriptive words.: The book takes place in Unicorn School where Sapphire, Willow, Storm, and Troy are having a school play. It was “The Sleeping Beauty” play.
List all of the main characters in the book, and share a little bit of information about each character.: The main characters are Sapphire, Willow, Storm, and Troy. They are all unicorns that go to Unicorn School. Unicorn school is where they learn different skills that Unicorns should know, like how to do magic.
If there was a problem presented in the book, write three (3) sentences about it. Otherwise, write three sentences about your favorite part of the book.: Both Sapphire and Willow auditioned for the character of Sleeping Beauty. It was a problem because only one of them could be Sleeping Beauty. But Willow can’t be Sleeping Beauty, Sapphire got the part. Willow just got to be the Wicked Fairy. This made Willow and Sapphire not be friends anymore.
If there was a problem presented in the book, write three (3) sentences about how the problem was solved. If there was not problem, write three sentences about what you would have liked to have seen in the book that the author did not include.: The problem was solved by Willow ending up liking her part a lot. She got to shoot black sparks and green smoke out of her horn. Then she decided it wasn’t so bad being the Wicked Fairy. After the play, Willow and Sapphire became friends again.
How did this book make you feel? Write three (3) sentences describing the feelings you had, when reading the book.: The book made me feel sad for Willow when she couldn’t be the Sleeping Beauty, but it made me happy that at the end they were friends again.
