Neutrons-We practiced different paces of running, then partnered up for some tossing activities. They practiced toss and catch, then tried it on one foot, between the legs, then two balls at a time. The partner connections, communication, and collaboration were really sweet!
We then enjoyed a game that combines dodgeball and bowling: crack the egg. They tried to “bowl” and knock their opponent’s eggs off a short cone.
Electrons and Muons- We waited out the rain and wind with a couple indoor activities. One was a combination of heads up and charades where the group acted out a phrase on a card on one person’s forehead for them to guess. Lots of laughs with this one.
Then we did an Easter egg relay race.
Then we partnered up outside for toss and catch with a tennis ball, then progressed to one foot, between the legs, then two balls at a time.

Quarks- We did the Easter Egg relay and “bowled” to knock eggs off a cone. Then we went outdoors for Easter bunny tag. The kids that were tagged by the Easter bunny had to freeze, but they could be unfrozen by the person with a magical Easter egg. We did this with everyone hopping, then skipping then running.
Sabrina used the tennis balls to lead the kids in juggling. So much fun!
