Today, we read Elizabeth’s very cool books about how snowflakes are made, a book with magnified photographs of snowflakes, and a biography of “Snowflake Man” Wilson Bentley. Then the kids cut out their own paper snowflakes. There were so many cool designs! For the last few minutes of class, the kids went out and played in the snow/ice. A few were interested in observing the old snow with the magnifying glasses, and some of the kiddos played skating games on the ice rink in the grass 🙂 Although today’s snow didn’t arrive in time for our lesson, but we had fun anyway!
