This story takes place in Nihon-Ja. Nihon-Ja is where the emperor, Shigeru, lives. This place is far away from where the main characters live.

Shigeru, he is the emperor of Nihon-Ja. Horace, from Araluen and helping Shigeru. Halt, raises eyebrows a lot and he’s the planner. Will, works with Halt. Evanlyn, the princess of Araluen. Alyss, Will’s girlfriend.

Arisaka were attacking Shigeru to take his throne away. Horace and his friends protected Shigeru. They trained a small army of Kikori people to defend the emperor and stand against Arisaka.

Horace and the Kikori searched for Ran Koshi. This was a protective palace for the emperor, but they didn’t know where it was. It took the group at least twenty days to find it. This is where they trained the Kikori and had a battle with Arisaka.

This book gets me suspicious. It makes me happy because Shigeru wins the big battle. It makes me sad because Shukin died.
