Weekly Summary: Felting – Quarks – Art

The Quarks did a little celebrating of Valentine’s Day with a choice between two books – they ended up choosing Happy Valentine’s Day, Curious George over Fancy Nancy. Good thing it was a short book, because our outdoor reading time sure was COLD!

We then ran inside to work on a felting project. We used wool sourced from Ester’s Place in Big Rock, IL https://maps.app.goo.gl/ferqC6AvMJBfs8PZ7 Many of the quarks ended up with sturdy little felt hearts after all their hard work. And absolutely no blood was shed, which felt like a real win!
