Circuits
Science – We played with a variety of science activities in rotation according to each kid’s interests: Snap Circuits (making electrical circuits light up and play sounds); Snake War (a twist on regular War in which venomous snakes battle) ;

Science Game – We played two rounds of Science Bingo. One had reptile pictures/facts and one had butterfly pictures/facts. Everybody got a chance to make a bingo.
What Is Science?
We started our science block with the table covered in paper so we all could make notes and drawings to answer “what is science?” We filled the whole white board when we shared our ideas! Some examples: orbits, cells, electrons,
Wacky Wardrobe
As part of Wacky Wardrobe Day, we decorated small wooden figurines with markers and dressed them in tissue paper. In some cases the figures were given favorite articles of clothing, and in others the style was a little more eclectic.
Game Theory Week 3
The Muons applied their knowledge this week. There was a review of the theories presented so far and then some practical application. The various games from the library were sorted into appropriate categories, discussed, then play-tested and recategorized if needed.
Game Theory Week 2
Another great week in game theory. We had a presentation on symmetrical / asymmetrical theory. More fantastic questions and engaging conversation afterwards. The Muons are getting to the bottom of separating theory from game.

We celebrated the arrival of fall with leaf cutouts and colored yarn. After picking their shapes and colors, the Protons and Quarks wrapped the yarn around to make a soft fuzzy leaf. And in the end, several were pinned to
