Art: Model Airplanes

This week we made model airplanes to commemorate National Aviation Month and because, well, making airplanes is always fun!

Two model types were available – craft stick planes and cardboard planes. Hot glue was used to connect the pieces and I was reminded how much kids often like using hot glue!

The project was a hit with both groups and everybody worked diligently to design and decorate their planes.  The finished products all looked terrific!
