A flooded path? Mounds of mud? Loads of squish and slosh and squelch? Today’s art was revelling in the (literal) chiling beauty of SO MUCH RAIN on the forest trail. Within seconds of arriving at this giant puddle we had a pair of soaked feet. Many minutes later they were encouraging each other to traverse the length of the puddle, depth unknown (but quickly discovered,) climbing on fallen trees, making mud creations, and then comparing who could pour the most amount of water out of their boots. By the time we returned to the pavilion we had only one pair of dry feet. Though, I’m pretty sure the frigid hands and saturated socks will be forgotten in the fun they had today!
