| Geronimo is the main character, he is the editor of the Rodent’s Gazette, a newspaper company. He likes to think he’s brave, but he’s actually a scaredy mouse. His sister Thea calls him that. Also, in this book was Professor von Volt, who helps them save the rainforest together. Geronimo traveled with his cousin trap, and his nephew Benjamin. In the rainforest they meet Monkeyfur who is the daughter of a chief for the Yanomami tribe. |

| Geronimo and his group save the rainforest from loggers and protects the temple of the Yanomami. They also keep the Fire Ruby from being stolen by a group of misfit rodents. |

| The Yanomami tribe is safe and move back to the temple, the misfit mice end up being caught in traps that were set by Monkeyfur. |

| I was nervous about how the book would end, and I was sad that so much of the rainforest was being destroyed. I really liked that. The book included a lot of real facts about the rainforest and the Yanomami tribe. |
