| What is the setting of the book? |
| The book takes place mostly at school and August’s house near New York City. It was sometime between 2005 and 2015 because Star Wars Episode 7 hadn’t come out yet, but Episode 3 had. |
| Who is/are the main character(s)? What are they like? |
| August – Main character. He’s 10 and was homeschooled all of his life. He likes Star Wars. Olivia – August’s sister. Teenager but she’s nice to August. It’s her first year in high school and she has drama with one of her friends. |
| What is the conflict of the story? |
| The conflict of the story is everyone at school is being mean to Auggie because of the way he looks. And his sister feels like she isn’t getting the attention that she needs. |

| August graduated and had a bunch of great friends. |
| While reading the book, what were your emotions? |
| Any emotion you can name, I probably felt it in this book! It’s sad, but 2 minutes later it’s happy again. Because it’s real. |

| The moral of the story is don’t judge a book by its cover because they could be a really great person and you don’t know it yet. Also, be kinder than necessary. |

| I give it a 9.5 rating. I would read it again. I really liked the story and the book in general. |
| What was your favorite/least favorite part? |
| My least favorite part ***Spoiler alert*** is when the dog died. I really like animals and I could picture it and I really felt August’s emotion. My favorite part was the character Summer because she was August’s first school friend and she stayed his friend. She didn’t end up leaving him ever. I also liked all the Star Wars references. 🙂 |

| Yes I would recommend this book. If you want super lighthearted and happy at all times, probably not. Sad things happen, like real life. If you don’t like sad things I don’t recommend reading it because it’s not all super happy. Ages 8 and up would enjoy this book. |
