Gorp is another character who doesn’t like his fur getting moldy. Sassafras likes to eat bugs. He’s a cat. |

Otherwise, write three sentences about your favorite part of the book.: | The problem is that Gorp’s fur gets moldy right before the Monster Ball. The Monster Ball is a dancing ball. He’s afraid he’ll ruin the party if he’s moldy. |

If there was not problem, write three sentences about what you would have liked to have seen in the book that the author did not include.: | Zoey was working with plastic bags. She put some of Gorp’s fur in five separate bags. In each bag, she added a type of preservative – salt, sugar, vinegar, and cooking oil. She didn’t put anything in the “nothing” bag, because it’s called “the nothing bag.” She needed that bag to see what the difference would be with the preservatives. Vinegar ended up being the best solution for Gorp. |
How did this book make you feel? Write three (3) sentences describing the feelings you had, when reading the book.: | It made me feel excited to read more. I liked the book because it had monsters in it, and he had mold on his fur. I like that Zoey had to fix the problem. I like Zoey because she likes to do science experiments about animals. |
