This book took place in a vacation town in Maine. It was a vacation house that was shared by two families. It was near the water.

The main characters were Fudge, Peter, Sheila Tubman, and Jimmy Fargo. Fudge wanted to play baseball. Fudge was funny. Fudge got scared when his bird, Uncle Feather, got lost. Fudge was always getting into trouble, and it was funny.

Peter was Fudge’s big brother. Peter was a good big brother and gave a good example to his younger brother. Peter was sometimes funny. Sheila Tubman was funny. She wore funny outfits and didn’t like smelly, disgusting dogs. Peter didn’t get along Sheila Tubman. Jimmy Fargo was Peter’s best friend.

When they went sailing, a gown up fell in the water. It was Fudge’s Dad. Fudge’s Grandma sailed the ship. I was sad when Sheila Tubman’s friend, Mouse, could not come to visit Sheila on vacation.

I would give this book five stars because I like kind of scary books like when Uncle Feather got lost. I liked when Fudgy got all blue from eating the blueberries. This book was funny.
