Write three sentences which describe the Setting of the book. Be sure use descriptive words.:

A civilization with a wall protecting the people from a supposable animal plague. There is a rich area behind this wall called the golden turrets and a really poor area called the shadows which is underneath the golden turrets. Then there is a sort of middle area where the main character lives.

List all of the main characters in the book, and share a little bit of information about each character.:

There Is Ellie, Ellie is a very brave and mischievous character. She is very smart. She is not the calmest of people and usually doesn’t take no for an answer. She is a mutant child and she knows things that lots of people don’t. She is also 12 years of age. Then there is Mika, Ellie’s twin sister. He is more calm and collective than Ellie, but just as smart. He also can see things that others can’t and can move things with his mind because he is a mutant child. There is Gorman, The man who kidnapped Ellie. He is practically immortal taking these “Everlife pills.” And resembles a living corpse. He is an evil man who works for the government. If I say more about him I may spoil the story so I won’t. There is Audrey who is Mika’s friend who he met at an arcade. She has short red punk like hair. Mika describes her as a punk fairy. She is a mutant, She was born without eyes. There is Kobi who lives in the shadows. He has black hair that hangs down on his face covering his eyes. He is also a mutant I am not exactly sure what his mutation is though. Like all the other mutants he knows things, and also can do things! There is Asha and David Mika’s parents. Asha and David are stuck in there ways.

If there was a problem presented in the book, write three sentences about it. Otherwise, write three sentences about your favorite part of the book.:

The main problem in the roar was Ellie being kidnapped. Mika wants to find her but her parents are convinced that she is dead. Mika has to see a councilor who is supposed to tell him that Ellie is dead but she helps him find her. I can’t give anymore away or else I may spoil the story.

If there was a problem presented in the book, write three sentences about how the problem was solved. If there was not problem, write three sentences about what you would have liked to have seen in the book that the author did not include.:

The problem was not really solved in this book but maybe in the sequel “The whisper” which I have not read yet.

How did this book make you feel? Write three sentences describing the feelings you had, when reading the book.:

Well it was pretty confusing, and very suspenseful. I always felt on the edge on my seat reading it. It makes you anxious as certain parts happen.
