Math: Estimation Games

The Neutrons worked on estimating yesterday. Thanks to all those who participated in our group estimation project…we wanted to see if taking the average of many guesses would get us close to the total number of items in a jar. While it did not work in our case, it’s a pretty cool concept you can check out in this video shared with me by Vicki.

We all had fun estimating and counting our steps to the far pavilion, as well as sharing what we’d brought in our containers from home and laughing about how far off many of our estimates were!
