Crayon class session 2. Students were asked to vote for which piece from the previous class they felt was most suitable to hang in a museum. Overwhelmingly they chose option 2, a drawing of a water tower. The main difference with this image was that the artist chose to fill in the entire sheet of paper. This worked out nicely, because the principal I had planned to teach them was “Fill the Frame!”
Once we discussed the importance of filling in the whole sheet of paper, students were asked to create a new artwork, applying this principal. Students worked until the end of the class.
Students were also reminded to collect items for Magdelena’s upcoming project (date still not set).
