The Nuetrons played a winter bingo game as we took a nature walk today. Some kids played until they achieved 5-in-a-row for Bingo, some of the kids played until their entire card was filled. We walked down the gravel path to the empty parking lot. Some of the kids climbed on the giant tree trunks that had been cut from the forest. Then most of them explored the large icy/watery area nearby. Despite warnings over the ice breaking, and the possibility of getting wet, they highly enjoyed playing with and breaking the ice. And several feet did indeed get quite wet 😬 😂
But, it’s always so fun to see them engage with nature in their own energetic ways! Also, we highly enjoyed seeing the large group of deer in the woods with us!
