We finished off our lesson on symmetry by creating self portraits. A few weeks ago I took their pictures then I printed them and we cut them out and centered and glued them down on a blank piece of paper. With a ruler and pencil they made exact measurements for their facial features on the other side.
We are still working on the self portraits and will wrap up in our next math session.
Also a big shout out to Vicki who went to Walgreens to print out one of the photos for a student that didn’t get printed. It was during her break time. Thank you Vicki!
