This week our class learned about the life of Jackson Pollock and Abstract Expressionism movement.  We read the book “Action Jackson” by Jan Greenberg and Sandra Jordan.  And then, the kids all made their own abstract splatter art!  We used tools like paint brushes, sticks, droppers and pipettes to spray, drop, spread and splash paint on their mini canvases.  I’ve been so impressed with the creativity of this group! Their artwork is fantastic and so imaginative!!
