Thanks to the wonderful preparation and printouts by Alison, gym was an Easter-themed blast this week!

After a brief warm-up, the kids rotated through stations including “hatching out of the egg” (start in a squat and break the egg shell above while standing up), different variations of bunny hops, jumps and one-leg balance, “cotton-tail crunches” and the favorite of balancing a plastic egg on their back during plank, some even attempted push-ups or one-arm planks.

To round up the Easter fun, we played a variation of Dodge ball that does not involve any balls flying at people but balls are rolled to knock Easter eggs off their stands on the opposing team. All groups really got into it and wanted to play several rounds.
