This week was a mish mosh of various creations!  The prepared activity was to use paper-weaving to decorate animals cut from foam. Googly eyes, feathers, markers, and other tools were also available for decorating the animals.

In both the Neutrons and the Electrons about half of the students liked the idea and made animals that incorporated paper weaving. But the other half came up with their own creations – from a stuffed foam character, to a bird named “Larry”, to a Nintendo Switch Controller (accompanied by a foam game screen!).

It’s always an adventure to see what shape the planned project may take once it’s put into action with the budding artists. They all have unique ideas and it’s fun to watch what they come up with each week!
