| It’s mostly set in a big wizard school called Hogwarts. Some other settings are Diagon Alley and the house at Privet Drive, among others. |
| Who is/are the main character(s)? What are they like? |
| Harry Potter has just turned 11 he is from a wizard family. He’s kind, trustworthy and thoughtful. Ron Weasley and Harry quickly become friends. Ron is the youngest boy in a large family. He is one of my favorite characters because I can relate to him. Hermione Granger is smart, studious and loyal. The three of them hang out a lot. |
| What is the conflict of the story? |
| The main enemy is Vold… I mean, he who must not be named. He almost kills Harry when he was a baby, giving him the lightning scar. Harry and his friends learn some things and try to protect Hogwarts. |
| What was the conclusion of the book? |
| Harry stops Voldemort from getting the stone, which can give the owner everlasting life. Harry was able to get the stone from the mirror because he wanted to help others and not keep it for himself. The stone was destroyed at the end. |
| While reading the book, what were your emotions? |
| I was excited and curious about what would happen. I also wanted to see how they made it into a movie. |
| Do you think the book had a moral? If so, what was it? |
| I think it had several morals. For example, Harry and his friends were able to accomplish more as a team. Also, after learning that Snape (one of the professors) tried to save him Harry realizes that things are not always as they may first appear. |

| The magic was my favorite. I liked all the different magical creatures. |

| Yes. I would recommend it to age 6 and up because there is fun magic and adventure. |
