| On a warm January day kids went to school and took a break to play outside. They soon saw dark clouds coming and the blizzard has started. They ran inside the schoolhouse and tried keeping warm. They got rescued by men with horses and sleds. The sled John and the boys were sitting in got cut loose and the boys had to jump out. They struggled fighting against the winds and snow, looking for a shelter. They came across a haystack, they dig out a cave and climbed right in. They spent hours trying to stay awake. They were rescued. They each lost a few fingers, toes and severely injured their bodies because of the frostbite. |

| I was really interested in the story. I felt worried and nervous and then relieved at the end. |
