| The book takes place in the town where Cory and his friends live, called Bronx. I’m pretty sure it’s located right outside of Brooklyn, New York. |

| Cory Tan is an eighth grade kid who’s part of his friend’s dance crew. As Cory’s grades plummet, his parents get him a tutor – Sunna, another kid from his eighth grade class. He thinks that she’s boring until he catches her secretly doing yo-yo tricks, and decides he wants to master the art of the yo-yo! |
| What is the conflict of the story? |
| A major dance competition is coming up, and Cory’s friend Tess is determined to win because it’s her team’s last opportunity to do so. Because next year they’re all going to different high schools, |
| What was the conclusion of the book? |
| In the end, Sunna and Cory bring their awesome yo-yo skills into Tess’s coreography and make for an awesome dance-and-yo-yo show. We don’t know if they won, but I, personally, like to think they did! |
| While reading the book, what were your emotions? |
| I was definitely waiting to see what happened next. I was a bit sad for Cory when Sunna ditched him, and I think that whole scene was a total mess. Everyone turned on everyone and – ugh – it made me so sad for the characters! |

| I really enjoyed the book! The art was vibrant and colorful, the lines were clean, and it was the perfect style. The pacing was exellent, and it had the right drama/action/humor/etc. ratio! |

| My favorite part was when Cory was learning how to yo-yo! It was really fun watching him improve. |
| Would you recommend this book to others? Why? |
| I would! It’s a fun, quick, and generally easy read. I think it’s best for readers aged 7-12, give or take a little. |
