Pahua moua is an eleven year old girl who can see spirits no one else can see. She has a cat spirit called Miv (pronounced Mee) and a brother named Matt.
What is the conflict of the story?
When Pahua goes into the forest she encounters a bridge spirit. The bridge spirit is very lonely. She died when she was eight. When she sees Pahua she wants Pahua to stay with her. But she says no becuase her brother is waiting for her. But when she gets home Auth him the next day he won’t wake up because the bridge spirit has a hold of his shorthand in the spirit realm.
What was the conclusion of the book?
Pahua and her friend Zhong went problems and battles and places but they finally rescued Matt.
While reading the book, what were your emotions?
I felt worried in some parts but at the end I felt happy.
Do you think the book had a moral? If so, what was it?
I don’t think it had a moral.

I really liked how the author combined her culture with this book. I also really like the adventure and fantasy.

My favorite post part was when they had to solve things without fighting.

Yes! I would definitely recommend this to others. I think if people like first person books, fantasy, adventure, action and a tie in of the authors culture (Hmong)
