Weekly Summary: During Art – Quarks – Art

This summary is a bit late,  but two weeks ago,  we busted out the hammers for some fun with wood cookies and string! Each kiddo drew a simple design on their cookie,  marked where each nail would be placed and got to hammering! They seemed to have so much fun and I am grateful for every parent who was able to join us! I am happy to report no fingers were smashed (as far as I know!) even on the few who opted to go it alone without any adult help. After they placed all the nails,  they chose embroidery string and began winding it into their design. Such gorgeous creations! Finally,  some kids opted for an eye hook so their work could be hung.
