SETTING
It is warm and rainy sometimes in the book. The book takes place inside and outside and in a tree. Also there are parts at the piano teacher’s house.
GENRE
Fiction
CHARACTERS / SUBJECT MATTER
Lulu is the main character and she doesn’t practice her piano song. Lulu’s mom keeps trying to get Lulu to practice. Mr Sharp is the piano teacher.
PROBLEM OR CONFLICT
The problem is Lulu doesn’t want to practice “Old McDonald.” Her mom keeps reminding her and she says “later” but never does it. Then it is the day for her lesson and she doesn’t want to go because she hasn’t practiced.
FAVORITE PART OR CONCLUSION
The problem was solved when Mr Sharp told her to sing the noises she heard all week instead of practicing. She understood the tune. Then with some help she could play it on the piano.
The book made me feel fine. It reminds me that I have to practice piano, too. I felt happy.
RATING
I like the art work and story. I know how to play “Old McDonald” on the piano. I liked the names that were used.
