The Neutrons and Electrons played a game called Four Strikes You’re Out, which I’m so grateful Elizabeth shared with me. Here is a description of how the game is played: https://marilynburnsmath.com/four-strikes-and-youre-out/ Rather than breaking into pairs, we played the game in larger groups with one adult to three or four Neutrons or Electrons…the kids worked as a team to figure out the adult’s equation. This made for some great collaborative problem solving! To make things a little extra exciting, we added the element of betting with candy, which is never not appreciated by these groups 😀
