| Flory the fairy is the main character. She is kind to everyone. She likes cherries and seeds. Peregrine the bat is a character that is happy and has good hearing. Skuggle the squirrel is another character. Skuggle is greedy but he is a good friend. |

| Flory lost her wings and now she can’t fly. She befriends animals that will let her ride on their back so that she can travel. Before she found animals to ride, she made ladders out of spiderwebs so she could travel from tree to tree to get cherries. |

| At the end, Peregrine the bat tells her that her wings will grow back as her magic grows stronger. |

| It’s a happy book that has a good ending. I liked that Flory befriends Skuggle because he helps her get seeds and cherries and she does the same for him. I think that it is hard for Flory not to have wings and not be able to fly because she needs to fly to find other fairies to live with. |

| This book’s moral was probably to keep going through hard times. |

| I liked that Flory made a lot of friends throughout the book, but I didn’t like that she couldn’t fly until her wings grow back. The writing was really good and helped me picture the setting and characters. |

| Yes, I would recommend this book. If you like fantasy and magic and animals, this is the book for you. Also, this book has really good illustrations. |
