We started with a little getting to know one another and sharing some obscure facts about the human body.  Then the muons were assigned a directional anatomy term – they shared definitions and learned from each other.  We practiced the terms and gave some examples:  the shoulder is proximal to the wrist, the ankle is distal to the hip.  I’ll email the adults for the muons the terms since our papers got a bit soggy in the drizzle.  Next week we jump in to the cardiovascular system.
