We used the beautiful weather today to make it feel like summer! For warmup, we used hula hoops to hula on our waist and arms, jump through them and play games with the hoops. Then we switched to a beach ball that had different exercises written on it (burpees, push ups etc.). When the music stopped, whomever held it had to read what was closest to their left thumb and we all did it. It was great fun and everyone participated with enthusiasm.
The main focus of the class today was kicking so we worked on ball control, passing and dribbling before heading into a fierce scrimmage game.
