The water cycle was our focus during nature study this week. We read a lovely book Water is Water with beautiful illustrations of the water cycle in action throughout the year. Then we started their own water cycle experiment by
STEM: Building Nests
Today we started with the book “A Nest is Noisy.” We read about birds making all different types of nests and their are many others species who also build nests. We then used toilet paper rolls to imitate the trees.

Art: Terra Cotta Roses
Thursday we tried to make terra cotta roses. Some kids chose to freelance. We used brushes for smoothing cracks and metal spheres for a light polish.

Gym: Circle Soccer
The Neutrons, Electrons, and Muons used back-to-back partner work to practice passing a dodgeball side to side and over/under. Then we moved the passing into the full group circle, enjoying a game of cat and mouse with dodgeballs of two
